Reinforcements have arrived: Extending my user experience (UX) and web design knowledge
Since I began programming in PHP in 2005, I was also deeply involved with all kinds of technical stuff - PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and later on HTTPRequestObjects, YUI, Prototype, JQuery, Zend Framework and finally Drupal. Yet until recently - that is - today, I felt I possessed strong web development skills but not so strong web design skills. Due to every present and increasing client emphasis on the relevance of the designs I have decided that while I will still assign work to web designers, I shall improve vastly my web design knowledge, even if I don't do the designs myself.
I just bought these four design theory and web design books today at borders - muajajajaj (evil laughter). Here they are:
